There are three things you can do once you have removed the squeaky hinges of your squeaky door. Applying some sort of lubricating oil on the door hinge usually fixes the door squeak right away. You can use olive oil butter paraffin candles wd 40 spray petroleum jelly or simply a bar of bath soap.

Spray the hinge then clean it off with a damp microfiber cloth. In addition to smoothing things over inside the door handle it will also loosen and remove rust and grime. This stops the squeaking but it also stops the door from being able to hold its position. The best way to fix a squeaky door knob is usually the simplest and most obvious.
